Gabinete Técnico Farmacéutico M. Camps remains firmly committed to the opportunities offered by the EU market to the cosmetics, parapharmacy and pharmaceutical sectors. For this reason, we have translated the content of our website – with the exception of the blog and the ‘Did you know?’ section – into French and Italian.
GTF in French and Italian: we are continuing to expand our range of services in the EU market
Since 1991, Gabinete Técnico Farmacéutico M. Camps has been advising companies on technical and health-related procedures, auditing the premises of manufacturers and distributors, and on the regulations – known in the pharmaceutical sector as regulatory affairs– taking the European market as a point of reference.
The fact that, as things stand, the official legislation governing cosmetics, medical devices, parapharmaceutical products and the CE marking of products consists of European Regulations and Directives, and that all products in these categories must comply with the same rules across all Member States, highlights a new economic model: market borders within the eurozone are now virtually non-existent.
Opening the doors of our office to 149 million potential customers: GTF translates your website content into French and Italian
What does it mean when people say that market barriers within the eurozone are now virtually non-existent? Any company or business – however small – owned by a citizen of the European Union should be able to market its products and services throughout the eurozone market.
In each and every one of its Member States. That said, this is provided that the requirements of national legislation are also met; these do not in any way contradict the European Regulation, but simply add certain provisions, such as the languages to be used on labelling.
GTF in French and Italian: why these two languages?
Within Europe, the most widely spoken languages are:
- on Russian, used mainly outside the EU.
- on German (with about 95 million speakers across Germany, Austria and Liechtenstein)
- on French (with around 80 million speakers)
- on English (which we already had on our website)
- on Turkish -used mainly outside the EU.
- on Italian (with around 69 million speakers).
- on Spanish (Remember: globally, Cervantes’ language has more speakers than any other on this list).
After reviewing the list, we decided to translate the website’s content into French and Italian for several reasons:
- 1. Both languages are among the top 10 most widely spoken languages in the EU, which means our content can reach a wide audience and we can connect with 149 million people.
- 2. Both French and Italian are Romance languages, sharing the same roots as Catalan and Spanish (a reason to rule out German, which has as (Germanic language) .
- 3. We have clients in both countries, and translating into their languages can serve as a good introduction.
Our proposal? Solutions!
And this applies to an ever-increasing number of EU citizens, as we have added French and Italian to our website. Please get in touch!
