Royal Decree on Medical Devices - On 20 March, the Spanish Government, through the Council of Ministers, approved the new national regulation on Medical Devices: Royal Decree 192/2023, of 21 March, which regulates medical devices. This regulation will allow the Spanish government to update its legislation to the European Commission's Medical Devices Regulation 2017/745, and to legislate on those points where the Regulation leaves room for national authorities.
