December 2015 was a month of major changes for the Gabinete Técnico Farmacéutico M. Camps. The first and biggest of these was the relocation of our office to the street Count of Salvatierra. It’s hard to imagine just how many things pile up in an office until you decide to move them somewhere else, but after more than 20 years in business, we can assure you that there are plenty of them and they’re very varied.
The director’s office (Mercè Camps), the technicians’ offices (Montse Figueras and Carlos González), the client archive, and the secretarial, accounts and communications departments have gradually been packed into boxes, which we moved to our new premises at the end of the month. And so here we are, back up and running, full of renewed energy and ready to offer the very best technical services.
The other major change has been digital. Last year we began our transition to Web 2.0, joining social media and producing all sorts of news stories related to the self-care sector. But we have gone a step further: for some time now, we have wanted to improve the internal structure of our content, and we have redesigned the website so that we can have a more comprehensive back-office system and a system of subject categories and tags that makes it easier for readers to navigate our articles more comfortably. If you’re reading this article, you can already see the result.
Finally, we have been busy preparing the 25th anniversary of Gabinete Técnico Farmacéutico M. Camps, which we will be celebrating in style in 2016 and about which we will keep you regularly updated. We’d like to wish you all a happy new year, thank you for your support during these times of change, and remind you that GTF is back in action at its new offices at 10 C/ Comte de Salvatierra, 4th floor, flat 1.
