Women 360° Congress It was set up as a communication platform to discuss women’s health and future. Since 2014, and in collaboration with ESADECREAPOLIS, organise a conference in Sant Cugat for female executives and businesswomen, focusing on health, wellbeing, beauty and business. They also organise monthly dinners Health-Network themes for embroidering specific subjects.
Mercè Camps, director of Gabinete Técnico Farmacéutico M. Camps, took part in Women 360 on 13 October, as part of the session A conversation between them, a round-table discussion and reflection session involving leading women in their respective sectors, during which the current challenges facing female executives and businesswomen were discussed. She took part in the discussion alongside Nuria Oliver, Head of Research at Telefónica, Montse Martí, International Director at Martiderm and Chair of the Beauty Cluster Barcelona, Helena Torras, Board Member and co-founder of Bwom, VP of Operations at Abiquo and Managing Partner at PaoCapital. For around an hour, the executives shared their perspectives on wellbeing and leadership, and discussed current issues in the world of work, such as flexibility and work-life balance.
How did Women 360 get started?
The event was opened by the director of the Women 360° Congress, , Rosa Cuscó, followed by a number of institutional presentations given by the Regional Minister for Labour, Social Affairs and Family, Dolors Bassa, the Mayor of Sant Cugat and President of the Barcelona Provincial Council, Mercè Conesa, the President of the Parliament of Catalonia, Carme Forcadell, the board of the Observatory on Women, the Economy and Business (ODEE) at the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Anna Mercadé and the President of ESADECREAPOLIS, Joaquín Bordas. The event also featured a video conference address by the United Nations Assistant Secretary-General for Communications and Public Information, Cristina Gallach.
More activities on the day
Throughout the morning, the conference also featured two highly interesting presentations. The first, on women and leadership, was given by the President of HH Spain and Portugal, Helena Herrero. Judith Mata, Executive Director of the Ricardo Fisas Natura Bissé Foundation, led the second session, which focused on quality of life following a cancer diagnosis. Finally, there was a round-table discussion on health, moderated by the doctor and former Regional Minister for Health Marina Geli –who is also the Scientific Director of the Women 360 Congress– at which the gynaecologist spoke Santiago Dexeus, Dr González-Costello, Dr. Cacabelos and Dr. Roigé.
In the afternoon, the programme, hosted by the legal expert and media analyst Laia Bonet, featured a talk on compliance by Francisco Bonatti, a criminal lawyer and founding partner of Bonatti Penal & Compliance, another of Pilar Gómez-Acebo, on coaching for senior management, and a Networking 3.0 session led by Rosaura Alastruey, who holds a degree in Advertising and Public Relations.
