Rapex Report, 4 November 2016. Last Friday, the European Union withdrew 43 products from the single market for failing to comply with single market regulations. Of these, seven were in Spain: three toys, a car engine, a watch and an electric heater.

As regards the cosmetics sector, four products were withdrawn, all of them for failing to comply with the Regulation. A body lotion from the Czech Republic, contaminated with mesophilic aerobic bacteria. Two skin creams, originating from the United Kingdom, which were contaminated with Enterobacter gergoviae. And finally, a bath foam, manufactured in China, which imitated the colour and shape of a jar of honey and could therefore be mistaken for food.
