Cosmetorium 2024: the Spanish cosmetics sector’s largest annual event is being held in Barcelona
Since its first edition in 2016, Cosmetorium has become a leading event for the Spanish cosmetics sector. The event, organised annually by Spanish Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SEQC) y Step Exhibitions In Barcelona, it has continued to grow in terms of both visitor numbers and exhibiting companies, and is now a leading venue for the networking in the cosmetics sector.
In the eighth edition, Cosmetorium 2024, the event has attracted more than 3,000 visitors to the Palau de Congressos in Barcelona – compared with 2,750 visitors at the 2023 edition – and more than 140 exhibitors – last year’s edition saw 100 exhibitors. These figures undoubtedly show that Cosmetorium is growing – and significantly so – year on year. Likewise, the cosmetics sector is also growing, with sales and exports increasing year on year.
From Gabinete Técnico Farmacéutico M. Camps to congratulate our colleagues at SEQC -the Spanish Society of Cosmetic Chemists, an association of professionals in the sector of which we are members- for the positive results it has produced Cosmetorium 2024. And to reiterate, once again, that in the few years since the congress began, we believe that Cosmetorium It has already established itself as an unmissable event for the cosmetics industry.
What did visitors to Cosmetorium 2024 discover?
The programme of Cosmetorium 2024 has included in this edition:

- A speech: presented by the chair of the SEQC, Mª Aurora Benaiges.
- Techfocus and workshops: a scientific programme that has featured more than 70 activities focused on knowledge, training and networking amongst the participants at the event
- Cosmetorium Awards: Created to «promote the advancement of science and technology in the field of cosmetics in our country», this year’s awards were dedicated to transformative textures in cosmetics.
- Innovatorium: innovations in cosmetics have their own section within Cosmetorium.
The next edition of Cosmetorium will take place on 22 and 23 October 2025. Among the new features on offer, one change of venue is particularly noteworthy: Cosmetorium 2025 will be held at the La Farga exhibition centre in Hospitalet de Llobregat.
25 years of GTF M. Camps: a celebration with Aquimisa Pharma at Cosmetorium
In 2016, Gabinete Técnico Farmacéutico M. Camps celebrated its 25th anniversary as a technical consultancy specialising in health-related procedures, making us one of the longest-established companies in Spain in this sector. And to mark the occasion, the director of GTF, Mercè Camps, booked a stand at a new cosmetics event organised by the SEQC, shared with Aquimisa Pharma. Over the course of the two days that the first edition of Cosmetorium, visitors to the fair were able to join us in celebrating GTF M. Camps’ anniversary, enjoying a glass of cava and some Guijuelo Iberian ham with the director of GTF at the Stand 46 from Cosmetorium.
