The Bioregion Forum is back: Save the date!

4 August 2016 | Training, News

Next Friday, 25 November, the BioRegion Forum, an event organised by BioCat, the life sciences and health cluster in the Catalonia bioregion, which comprises 734 companies, 89 research organisations, 41 research centres, 13 technology parks and 101 hospitals.

The event, to which all companies and organisations in this multi-sector field are invited to participate, will feature numerous talks by international experts, round-table discussions and presentations by members of the health and self-care sector. The Bioregion Forum  It was held between 2008 and 2011, organised by Biocat and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, and after several years without any further events, it will finally return to Barcelona this November. For further information, please visit their website, http://forum.biocat.cat/ , where you will also find information on previous calls for applications.

Here at GTF, we are delighted that the Forum is back and have set aside the date so that we can take part in the event.  We believe that Biocat, an organisation established in 2006 at the instigation of the Catalan Government and Barcelona City Council to provide a common strategic plan for Catalan life sciences companies, is a great initiative for generating synergies within the life sciences sector, and we recommend that all companies that identify with this sector take part in the Forum.

Save the date!
