AMEPRES, the Asociación Mexicana de Profesionales en Regulación Sanitaria is celebrating this year the 10th anniversary of its foundation.
This organisation was created by health professionals to guarantee the quality, safety and efficacy of medicines and medical devices, as well as to represent the collective interests of health regulation professionals throughout the United Mexican States.
Founded in Mexico City in 2012, the AMEPRES organisation has managed to cross borders and place itself in the international spotlight through the organisation of the International Health Regulation Meeting. A congress which brings together experts in health regulation from all over the world and in which Mercè Camps, the director of our firm, has participated in several editions as a speaker and moderator of debates.

And, aware of the difficulty of moving forward and consolidating this type of organisation, we would like to send them our most sincere congratulations on the results obtained.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank AMEPRES for the smooth running that we have seen in the organisation of the International Meeting on Health RegulationWe look forward to participating in future editions.
Finally, we would like to stress the importance of health professionals - in parallel to business, industry and public policy makers in the health sector - organising themselves in professional associations. Thanks to such associations, health regulatory experts find spaces to share their views on the sector, manage training collectively and ensure that, when necessary, their voice is taken into account in the sector.
