Rapex August reports: cosmetics recalled in Europe

August Rapex reports: Here at GTF, we’re back from our holidays, and one of the first things we’ve done is catch up on the Rapex reports this summer, during which a number of cosmetic products have been recalled. Here you can view the four reports that were published in August.

As you will see, it has been a hectic few weeks for the cosmetics sector, with 15 products recalled. The EU remains committed to ensuring consumer safety, and so are we. We want to raise awareness of RAPEX amongst those involved in the cosmetics sector. We are keen to know which products are being recalled and the reasons why the European Commission decides to withdraw our products from the market. Stay tuned!
