Infarma 2025, the European Pharmacy Conference, is an event organised annually by the pharmaceutical associations of Barcelona and Madrid. This year’s event took place at the Fira de Barcelona from 25 to 27 March.
Infarma 2025 is aimed at professionals and companies in the pharmaceutical sector, and, over the course of several decades, it has become the sector’s leading social and networking event pharma in Spain.
On the one hand, the European Congress of Community Pharmacies, which features conferences, round-table discussions and workshops to learn about and discuss current issues in the sector. And then there is the Medicines and Parapharmacy Fair, where pharmaceutical companies set up their stands and showcase their latest products.
An event was held in Barcelona at the end of March Infarma 2025. This marks the 35th edition of the leading event in the pharmaceutical sector nationwide. During the three days of the meeting, the director of GTF, Mercè Camps, has attended daily at Infarma 2025 in his capacity as a Member of Parliament. Among the main attractions of this 35th edition of Infarma, we would like to highlight, firstly, the conference on impactful communication led by Mónica Galán. Infarma 2025: attendance figures
This edition of Infarma, who is now 35, has told more than 21,500 visitors registered members. Of these, more than 6,000 have been members of Congress, which is almost double the number of members of Congress from the previous year.
And that is a success, because it is precisely the European Congress of Community Pharmacies the forum where the major issues contributing to development and innovation in the pharmaceutical sector are discussed. Throughout Infarma 2025, the following have taken place: 50 lectures with the support of more than 100 speakers with a proven track record. In addition, the following have been presented 100 scientific posters which provide a forum for the exchange of scientific experiences and for publicising the latest research in the pharmaceutical field.
On the other hand, the Medicines and Parapharmacy Fair, which this year has focused on improving the event’s sustainability, has hosted some 300 exhibitors. At the exhibition, we were able to view the product catalogues of the sector’s leading companies, meet with national health authorities and explore the Infarma 2025 area, inside the Fira de Barcelona building, alongside the other visitors to the event.
