The Mexican Association of Health Regulation Professionals (AMEPRES) organised by the 6th Meeting on Health Regulation, an online conference on healthcare regulation organised with three objectives in mind: to promote harmonisation, convergence and regulatory reliance, to publicise significant changes to regulatory frameworks in Latin American countries, the United States and Europe to facilitate the registration of healthcare products and promote best regulatory practices, thereby ensuring the safety, quality and efficacy of healthcare products.
6th Meeting on Health Regulation – The sixth edition of the Health Regulation Conference will take place from 9 to 12 November 2021. The event is organised annually by the Mexican association AMEPRES and attracts a huge audience from the Spanish-speaking community worldwide.
So far, publicity for the event is well under way, as has been the case in previous years. 6th Conference on Health Regulation: Mercedes Camps’ presentation
The director of GTF, M. Camps, Mercedes Camps Miró, will take part in the conference with a presentation scheduled for 10 November, from 10.45 to 11.15. Entitled “Update to Regulation 2017/745 on Medical Devices”, this veteran expert in healthcare regulation will outline the key changes introduced by the new Medical Devices Regulation and their implications across the European Union for aesthetic clinics and equipment.
In fact, our director took part in this event at its previous edition, giving a presentation entitled “New European Regulation on Medical Devices”. And also as a moderator at a round-table discussion at the last meeting on the policies being implemented in relation to COVID-19.
