In the <strong>Spanish market<\/strong>, There were 4 banned items: a children's finger paint, two electrical appliances and a model of the Seat Alhambra car.<\/p>\n<p>In relation to the <strong>cosmetics sector<\/strong>, There has not been a single product recall. However, we would like to refer to two of the recalled items, which Rapex does not consider to be cosmetics, but which have set off our alarm bells.<\/p>\n<p>On the one hand, the <strong>finger paint<\/strong>, manufactured in the Czech Republic by Koh i Noor and placed by Rapex in the toy category. This article was banned because it contained an excessive amount of aluminium and cobalt in its composition, and therefore did not comply with the <strong>Toy Safety Directive<\/strong> and the standard <strong>EN 71-7<\/strong>. However, the fact that it is a product that by its nature comes into contact with the skin, and that the reason for its withdrawal is due to the possibility of inducing dermatitis and allergic reactions, is very reminiscent of the criteria by which cosmetics are permitted\/withdrawn.<\/p>\n<p>The other item that came to our attention was a modelling paste - plasticine - manufactured in China by Vivabook, classified as a toy, which has been recalled because it contained too much cobalt and did not comply with the <strong>Toy Safety Directive<\/strong> and the European standard <strong>EN 71-3<\/strong>. As with the previous product, the reason for withdrawal - possible allergic skin reactions - is very reminiscent of that governing the safety of cosmetics.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La alerta Rapex de la Comisi\u00f3n Europea retir\u00f3 la pasada semana 35 productos.
