Today, these items are already part of our daily lives. However, at the regulatory level, there is a classification based on their risk, which includes the following typologies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Class I \u2192 Low risk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Class IIa \u2192 Moderate risk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Class IIb \u2192 Medium-high risk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Class III \u2192 High risk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/fonts.gstatic.com\/s\/e\/notoemoji\/17.0\/1f9ea\/32.png\" alt=\"\ud83e\uddea\" style=\"width:67px;height:auto\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Examples of Medical Devices, according to their risk classification: <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Within the <strong>Class I <\/strong>PS would find items with a low risk, such as: bandages, prescription glasses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Within the <strong>Class IIa<\/strong> of PS, there will be products with a moderate risk such as: hearing aids. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Within the <strong>Class IIb<\/strong> PS, with a medium-high risk, we find devices such as: respirators. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Within the <strong>Class III<\/strong> of PS, i.e. high-risk items are classified as: pacemakers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/mcamps.com\/eng\/contacto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Do you want to know more about Santarios products, ask us!<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Medical devices are devices that have a medical-health purpose, but no principal pharmacological action.
